Government Contacts From time to time, people may feel the need to contact their government representatives concerning an issue, like healthcare, they consider important. To help you locate the correct person, the Albuquerque Cancer Coalition is providing this list of contact numbers and e-mails (where available). State Legislators (House of Represenitives and Senate) State Agency Information can provide you with the telephone numbers of the appropriate legislator for your issue. • The number in Santa Fe is 505-986-4600 • You may also use the toll-free number, 1-800-825-6639. If you have access to the Internet, you can find the answers to many questions and the telephone numbers of legislators at www.legis.state.nm.us. Governor Bill Richardson If you have an issue with which you would like the governor to help, you can reach him at his office in the Round House in Santa Fe. The governor encourages people to log onto his web site, governor@state.nm.us to read the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) section before phoning. His telephone number is 505-476-2200. Lieutenant Governor Diane Denish The lieutenant governor also is available to assist you. You can access her web site at ltgovernor@state.nm.us or call her office tollfree at (800) 432-4406.
