The UNM Cancer Center is one of only 65 centers in the United States to receive site designation from the National Cancer Institute. This prestigious designation allows us to be part of an elite collaborative network that gives New Mexicans access to the latest developments in cancer care. We have also been named by the New Mexico State Legislature as the States Official Cancer Center.
The heart of any cancer center is its doctors and weve brought some of the worlds finest cancer specialists to New Mexico. With more than 85 doctors in every cancer specialty, 120 researchers and more than 400 support staff, the UNM Cancer Center has the largest and most experienced team of cancer experts in the state. We want every New Mexican touched by cancer to have access to the compassionate, culturally sensitive, world-class care they deserve.
